Henry Cabot Lodge

The last Republican to occupy the Senate seat currently sought after by Martha Coakley (D) and Scott Brown (R) was Henry Cabot Lodge. Lodge last served in office until 1953 when he was succeeded by John F. Kennedy. The seat has been ruled by Democrats for over 55 years.

At Least the White House Has an Idea

Democrats shouldn't be angry over the White House ideas to reduce the deficit. They should embrace them! They do realize that we're voting in November right?

Today, history could be made. A seat that has been held by a staunch liberal democrat for almost half-a-century, in the most liberal state in the union, could possibly belong to a Republican. If you are a Massachusetts voter, than I urge you to exercise your freedom and civic duty and vote in the Special Senate election today!

The revolution began last spring, the evidence was displayed in November in Virgina and New Jersey, and now the victory lap for 2010 will officially begin in MA come tomorrow!
